Três dias em Cascais. Um saboroso dolce far niente que já andava a fazer falta.
Passear pela vila ou à beira-mar, sempre de máquina ao pescoço, e recuperar o sono foram as prioridades desta escapadinha.
Aproveitar para colocar em pratica um conceito que tem sido muito "debatido" na família, nos últimos tempos: andei pelo "tempo do evento" e não pelo "tempo do relógio". Comer quando se tem fome, dormir quando se tem sono, passear quando a chuva pára, falar quando aparece alguém e fotografar quando inspirada...

Three days in Cascais. A tasty dolce far niente that was lacking.
Walking through the village or seaside, always with camera hanging by the neck, and sleep-time recovering,    were the priorities of this getaway.
Also putting into practice a concept that has long been "debated" in the family, in recent times: being on "event time" and not on "clock time". Eating when hungry, sleeping when sleepy, walking when the rain stopped,  talking when meeting someone and taking pictures when inspired...

Edifício da Alfândega do Porto // Alfândega do Porto Building

Numa tarde tão cinzenta como as imagens abaixo, explorei o Edifício da Alfândega.
Edifício com história e bem conservado, revelou-se uma boa fonte de inspiração para tirar fotografias, fazer experiências e brincar com a (pouca) luz.
Isto aliado a uma visita à exposição permanente (Museu dos Transportes e Comunicações) tornou esta tarde pouco promissora num bom programa familiar.

In an afternoon as gray as the pictures below, I explored the Alfândega Building. 
Building with history and well maintained, it proved to be a good source of inspiration for taking photographs, experimenting and playing with the (weak) light.
That combined with a visit to the permanent exhibition (Museum of Transport and Communications) made this unpromising afternoon into a good family program.

Gosto de fotos B&W, mas juro que já estou desejosa de captar e publicar cor neste espaço. A culpa não é minha. É que este tempo cinzento teima em não ir embora.
